Nous sommes une communauté grandissante de chercheur.ses à l’Université d’Ottawa qui adoptons une approche historique dans notre travail et qui sommes engagés dans la pédagogie et la recherche antiraciste. Notre groupe est composé de professeur.es à temps plein et à temps partiel, de bibliothécaires, d’étudiant.es diplômé.es et de boursier.es postdoctoraux.

En tant qu’enseignant.es et chercheur.ses à l’Université d’Ottawa, nous nous opposons à toutes formes de racisme, de suprématie blanche et de colonialisme en cours. Nous nous engageons à œuvrer pour un campus plus équitable, plus juste et plus diversifié en intégrant une approche intersectionnelle qui reconnaît les liens entre le racisme et toutes les formes d’oppression. Nos activités sont axées sur :

1. Le soutien aux étudiant.es et aux associations étudiantes qui font face à des actes et à des systèmes racistes 
2. L’organisation d’événements sur le campus tels que des ateliers, des séries de conférences et des tables rondes
3. L’organisation d’ateliers de pédagogie antiraciste pour les enseignant.es de l’Université d’Ottawa

We are a growing community of scholars at the University of Ottawa who think historically in our work and are committed to antiracist pedagogy and research. The group is made up of full-time and part-time professors, librarians, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows. 

As teachers and researchers at the University of Ottawa we oppose all forms of racism, white supremacy, and ongoing colonialism. We are committed to working for a more equitable, just, and diverse campus by incorporating an intersectional approach that recognizes the connections between racisms and all forms of oppression. Our activities are focused on:

1. Supporting students and student associations in dealing with racist events and systems
2. Putting on events such as workshops, speaker series, and panel discussions on campus
3. Organizing antiracist pedagogy workshops for teachers at the University of Ottawa
